For GUITAR PLAYER's Beatles Special in 2004, we released five different cover designs, making Ringo Starr the first drummer ever given his own GP cover. Finally, in 2015, I got to show it to him.
Les Paul was a great friend to GUITAR PLAYER and to me personally. His counsel and his fantastic stories were always welcome. Here, I'm wishing him well at his 90th birthday party in NYC.
